In the movie "The Day the World Stood Still," the alien, upon landing inWashington DC, asked that he be taken to the "smartest person on earth",so that they could discuss the the dangerous state of affair on Earth.The person he was taken to was a Physicist!
One can argue that if that alien spaceship landed in the sixties, the personwho most people would identify as that person is Albert Einstein.
So who would you put on your list, if the alien spaceship landed in 2005?

Rosalyn Franklin is one of the greatest woman scientist of the last century.Many believe that she should have gotten the Nobel prize for her work on DNA.She died in 1958 at the age of 37. History had not been kind to her and shenever got the recognition she richly deserve.
Is there anything that can do to honor this great woman pioneer?
